New! West Hartford Cultural Council Campaign
The West Hartford Cultural Council's campaign has started. Donation envelopes and letters were sent home with your child/children after the February 13th performance of "Roots of Jazz: From Spirituals to Swing" by the jazz band, "The Cats." Please consider returning these envelopes with a tax-deductible donation made payable to the West Hartford Cultural Council this week; no amount is too small. These donations will ensure that the Duffy students will continue to benefit from these enriching cultural performances in future years. Thank you for supporting the arts in education campaign!

New! West Hartford's Cookin' - March 28th @ 6:30pm
The Foundation for West Hartford Public Schools is holding their annual West Hartford's Cookin' event on Saturday, March 28th from 6:30-9pm in WH Town Hall. Tickets are on sale now. You can access the website to purchase tickets and learn more about the event and the Foundation by clicking on the following link: https://www.fwhps.org
This event will help raise funds to support educational projects, programs, and initiatives that enhance and enliven the classroom experience for all West Hartford Public School students, like the grant Duffy received this year for our Artist in Residence - DJ Red Supreme. It is a fun event with "celebrity chefs" from principals (like our very own Kristi Laverty) and administrators to local politicians and other well known community members. There will be food, drinks, and a live and silent auction.
Jenn O’Connell is serving as Duffy’s representative on the planning committee this year, so please feel free to contact her with any questions you have. We hope to see you there! Click here for details.
