Last Chance! West Hartford Cultural Council Campaign
Monday is the last day to turn in Cultural Council envelopes in order to be entered to win a four-pack of tickets to The Drowsy Chaperone at Conard High School. The winner will be announced on Tuesday. A sincere thank you to all the families who have already supported the arts in education campaign. There is still time to participate as donations will be collected through the end of the week.
We are thrilled to report that about 50 Duffy families contributed money or food items for Conference Week and we’ve collected 100% of our cash goal and 95% of our food donation goal! *Just two hot breakfast dish slots remain open for this Friday (see sign up)
An enormous thank you to all who donated - we are so excited to be able to treat our wonderful teachers this week!

West Hartford's Cookin' - March 28th @ 6:30pm
The Foundation for West Hartford Public Schools is holding their annual West Hartford's Cookin' event on Saturday, March 28th from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm in WH Town Hall. Tickets are on sale now. You can access the website to purchase tickets and learn more about the event and the Foundation by clicking on the following link: https://www.fwhps.org
This event will help raise funds to support educational projects, programs, and initiatives that enhance and enliven the classroom experience for all West Hartford Public School students, like the grant Duffy received this year for our Artist in Residence - DJ Red Supreme. It is a fun event with "celebrity chefs" from principals (like our very own Kristi Laverty) and administrators to local politicians and other well known community members. There will be food, drinks, and a live and silent auction.
Jenn O’Connell is serving as Duffy’s representative on the planning committee this year, so please feel free to contact her with any questions you have. We hope to see you there! Click here for details.
