New!  Holiday Helpers

Each year the Duffy Service Projects committee assists local families during the holidays by filling children’s wish lists. If you are interested in helping this year, please email Shannon Pecorelli and/or Tiffany Dammarell for more information on how you can help.

Native American Heritage Month

November is Native American Heritage Month. Duffy EDI is pleased to share these resources for you and your family to celebrate and learn together! Whether you want to help or want to learn or both, don't hesitate to reach out to one of our co-chairs, Tracy Wu FastenbergThao Hau or  join the Committee via Konstella.

Bingo Night Volunteer

Do you have a knack for coordinating events? If so, the Duffy PTO is in need of your help.  We are looking for one or two volunteers to shadow Jenn O’Connell in the coordinating of Duffy BINGO night, with the plan of chairing or co-chairing the event next year. Bingo night is scheduled to take place on February 10th and will be virtual.  The staff at Duffy do most of the planning for the event, your job would  simply be to coordinate logistics with the staff, send out communications and coordinate prizes.  Thank you for considering volunteering your time to keep Family Bingo Night a fun tradition for our Duffy community.  If you are interested and/or have any questions please email Shannon Pecorelli and/or Tiffany Dammarell.

Your PTO Needs Co-Vice Presidents!

Your Duffy PTO is in immediate need of two engaged parents/guardians to serve as Co-Vice President this year. The position would mainly involve shadowing Sarah Dolan on emails, etc. to learn the role of President and to then serve as Co-Presidents next year. Sarah's term will end this spring and the vacancy must be filled for the PTO to continue delivering events and enrichment opportunities for our kids. There's no time like the present to get involved! If interested, please email Shannon Pecorelli and/or Tiffany Dammarell.

Conference Week Lunch & Snack Volunteers are the best! They're not in it for the glory. They sign up online and quietly drop off their snacks and sometimes it seems like their volunteerism slips under the radar. But it doesn't! You helped make Conference Week happy for the staff and teachers and that's huge. Thank you for the food donations as well as the cash donations to fund a catered lunch. Also, thank you to Amy Janangelo and Kerri Andrews for their help with restock/clean up!
A special thanks to Shannon Pecorelli and Diana Yorkavich for Chairing this special event: This dynamic duo consistently helps make Duffy events possible. Thanksgiving is in the air and we feel it strongly this week at Duffy School.

One Year, One Time! If you want to submit a shout-out to someone making Duffy better, please email Sarah Dolan, PTO President.
