New!  Hour of Code Week

The entire school is joining in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, during Computer Science Education Week (December 9-13). More than 100 million students worldwide have already tried an Hour of Code.

Our Hour of Code is making a statement that Duffy is ready to teach these foundational 21st-century skills. To continue bringing programming activities to your students, the Duffy teachers and staff want to make our Hour of Code event exciting for all students. They can connect their learning at school to your home. During the week of December 9th, please encourage your child to complete the BINGO sheet that will be coming home. See http://hourofcode.com/us for details, and help spread the word.

New!  Books Bring Us Joy!
Do you have books at home that your children are no longer reading? If so, help spread the joy of reading to our Duffy community by adding to our book giveaway! Send in any gently used book donations this week, Monday 12/8 - Friday 12/12. A collection box will be in the main lobby.
All Duffy students will have an opportunity to go "book shopping" the following week to take home a book to read for winter vacation. Let's share our love of books with others! Thanks for your help!
