NEW!  Duffy Read-a-Thon! The Duffy PTO's 3rd Annual Read-a-Thon Fundraiser is scheduled for March 3-7. The goal of the Read-a-Thon is to get students excited about reading and to collect pledges in support of their reading efforts during the event.

 

Monday 3/3: Cozy Up and Read (wear PJs/slippers)

Tuesday 3/4: Show your School Spirit and Read (wear Duffy Spirit Wear and/or green & white)

Wednesday 3/5: Bring your Favorite Book

Thursday 3/6: Reading with a Hat/Headband

Friday 3/7: Bring a Stuffy for a Reading Buddy

Butter Braids and Cake Roll Fundraiser!!  Starting February 12th, a delicious opportunity to support your Duffy Dragons! Order Butter Braids and Cake Rolls in time for warmer weather. One Community Meeting:  February  24th from 6-7:30pm at Sedgwick Middle School Library.  Join One Community For Teacher Insights: Come together with district staff, community organizations, and parents/caregivers to discuss key issues affecting our students. This month’s meeting will focus on academic demands, the impact of social media, and mental health needs, explored from the perspectives of building staff across various roles and levels. Interested in attending? RSVP HERE!
  
Baking Club: The Winter Session of the after-school baking club will be for 5th grade students and will meet on Tuesdays, February 25, March 4, 11, and 18 from 3:20 - 4:45. Registration opens at 12:00 on Thursday, February 13.  Participation is limited to 10 students, so interested families are encouraged to sign up early!  See attached flyer for more info!

Duffy Fair Planning has started and we are looking for members to join the planning committee.  Is there something you loved about last year's fair?  Is there something you missed?  We would love to know!!   It takes a whole lot of planning and if you enjoyed last year's fair, we hope you can join us this year to help plan and make this year's fair better than the last!

The PTO will again treat our amazing Duffy teachers and staff to snacks and meals during Conference Week (March 3 - 7).

How can you help?

  • Please sign up via Konstella "Conference Week Sign-Up."
  • A request for volunteers to help with daily set-up and clean-up will be posted separately.
  • Please deliver all donations to the Duffy School office on Monday, March 3 unless otherwise noted on the sign-up.
  • Please label all donations "Conference Week."
