NEW!  Field Day 2025 is almost here!!!

Mark your calendars for May 27 (grades 3, 4, 5) and May 28 (grades K, 1, 2). A Konstella sign up will be published for volunteers, please be on the lookout for that in a week or so.

Donations of water balloons and cases of water bottles (to refill water bottles while outside) are needed. All donations can be dropped off in the front office where there will be a labeled bin for water balloon donations starting next Wednesday May 14th. Thank you!!

May 22nd from 5:00-6:30pm. at Duffy.  


NEW!  Grade 5 Parents and Caregivers Information Night at Sedgwick  6:00-7:00pm. 


NEW!  Healthy Tech Habits for Growing Minds:  West Hartford Town Hall from 6:30-7:30pm.


NEW!  Friday, June 13th is the last day of school.

Crazy About Sports Summer Camp:  Come Join us for Crazy About Sports! This is activity based program that will provide kids the opportunity to play hard and have fun.  This program gives kids the chance to develop the skills, confidence, and desire to be active this SUMMER with Mr. DeVeau Duffy’s PE Teacher.  Kids will be introduced to a variety of games and activities that encourage great competition, great sportsmanship, and great FUN!  Let’s have a summer filled with GREAT OPPORTUNITIES TO PLAY!

Camp will run on the following weeks:

7/14/25-7/18/25
7/21/25-7/25/25
8/4/25-8/8/25
8/11/25-8/15/25

It’s that time to celebrate with the Duffy School Community!  The Duffy Fair is coming: Friday, 5/30/25 from 5-7:30pm.  (Rain date: Fri. June 6)  

  • New pricing and purchasing structure this year.

  • Kiddos' entry fee is $10 each (Kids aged 4+)  (maximum of $30 per family)
    Entry wristbands->includes access to inflatables, DJ, magician, & Socceropolis

  • Food, drinks, arts & crafts and balloons will be exchanged for tickets
    1 ticket = $1
    Number of tickets vary by activity.  

  • Frozen treats will be available onsite- cash or credit. 

Please see attached flyer.  More information will be sent out to families this week to pre-purchase your entry wristbands and tickets.  So look out!  Looking forward to celebrating the evening with everyone!

Duffy Spring Clothes Drive

Spring is here and we are looking to fill specific spring Duffy Closet needs.

IMMEDIATE NEEDS: Spring/Summer clothes (shorts, shirts, bathing suit, flip flops etc.) in the following sizes:

  • Girl, size 4 

  • Boy, size 9/10 

  • Adult male, size Medium 

  • Adult female, size Medium

ONGOING NEEDS

  • Nurses Office: Girls, leggings, size small and large

  • Nurses Office: Boys, sweatpants and shorts, small and large

  • Duffy spiritwear--all kinds

  • Concert clothes--white dress shirts, dark pants/skirts, black shoes

If you have clothes to donate that fit the descriptions above, please drop off anytime to Sarah Dolan at 49 Chapman Rd (or to Duffy School labeled Attn: Sarah Dolan/Duffy Closet).
