Curriculum Night: Curriculum Night will be held on Thursday, September 12th. Grades K-2 will be 5:30-6:15pm and Grades 3-5 will be 6:30-7:15pm. See you there!
Thursday, September 19: the Annual Duffy Welcome Back Social! All new Duffy families are invited to a pizza dinner from 5:00-6:00pm at the Duffy Courtyard. All current and new families are invited to the ice cream social from 6:00-7:00pm at the Duffy Playground.
Save the date! This year’s Duffy Dance has a Halloween theme and will be held Friday, October 11 from 6-8pm. Wear a costume or dress to impress, it’s up to you!
Before and After School Sports with Mr. Deveau!: Mr. Deveau is excited to start another round of Before and Afterschool Sports. After School Sports is a GREAT opportunity to learn new games and learn how to play with other students in small sided games. Before School Sports is a GREAT opportunity to start your day with some activity, exercise, and a ton of fun! Check out the flyer for more details.
Nurse Donations Needed: Nurse Addamo is looking for the following donations:
- Boys underwear sizes 5-8.
- Socks for all ages for kids age 5-10
- Girls leggings, sizes 5-10
- Small boys sweat pants sizes 5-7
It takes a village to pull off all of the various PTO events that happen throughout the year, and we're seeking volunteers for the following position(s):
- Board of Education Rep: Looking for one person to attend Board of Ed meetings (either in person or virtually) and then report back on any Duffy related information. Meetings are held one a month on Tuesdays at 7pm.
- URGENT NEED: Volunteer Coordinator(s): Work with the outgoing VC to learn the ropes and recruit volunteers for the various PTO committees and events held throughout the year. The VC also attends monthly PTO meetings (held both virtually and in person). No experience is needed, just good planning and organization skills!
