June is PRIDE Month! During Pride, people around the globe celebrate the LGBTQ+ community by honoring its history, celebrating the achievements of its members, and recognizing the ongoing fight against inequalities.

Here are some resources to share with your children about Pride:

  Notice the Rainbow Flag flying in front of Duffy School. The Rainbow Flag is a worldwide symbol for Pride! Each stripe represents an aspect of a fulfilling life: 

RED = LIFE
ORANGE = HEALING
YELLOW = SUNLIGHT
GREEN = NATURE
BLUE = ART
PURPLE = HUMAN SPIRIT
