As many of you might know a member of our Duffy Community is in need of our help and support. You might not know Mr. Dan, but your child(ren) definitely does. Everyone who knows Mr. Dan loves Mr. Dan. He not only does the before-school KidsLink, and the afterschool KidsLink, but is also a teaching assistant all day long at Duffy, working with individual students one-on-one.
Earlier this month, in October, Dan was crossing the street after taking the bus home and was struck by a truck. While Dan is okay, he has a broken arm and cannot work. A gofundme page has been set up (click here). All money raised will go directly to Dan to help pay bills and supplement his income.
We will also be collecting cards, if your child would like to make one. Please have them bring the card(s) school and drop it off in the office (there will be a box).
