March 2–6 | Read Across America Week

We are so excited to kick off our Duffy Read-a-Thon next week — one of the biggest (and most FUN!) fundraisers of the year — all while celebrating the joy of reading!

This isn’t just a fundraiser… it’s a school-wide reading celebration. Our goal is to fill Duffy with books, cozy reading moments, school spirit, and LOTS of logged minutes!

More information will be coming soon about how to register your child on the 99Pledges platform so you can easily share your child’s reading link with family and friends. It’s simple, secure, and makes supporting our school easy!

We’ll be celebrating reading ALL WEEK LONG with themed spirit days:

Monday 3/2 – Cozy Up & Read

Wear your PJs and slippers and get comfy with a good book!

Tuesday 3/3 – Show Your Spirit & Read

Wear Duffy spirit wear and/or green & white!

Wednesday 3/4 – Favorite Book Day

Bring your favorite book to share and read!

Thursday 3/5 – Hats Off to Reading

Wear your favorite hat or headband!

Friday 3/6 – Read with a Stuffy

Bring your favorite stuffed animal as your reading buddy!
