What an incredible community we have at Duffy School! The first-ever Dragon Dash was a huge success, raising over $15,000 for the Duffy PTO. Even more inspiring was seeing all the Duffy students in their Dragon Dash t-shirts and their families out on the field- running laps with friends, collecting bracelets, and dancing to DJ Red Supreme. The energy and joy were contagious!
Thank you to all the parent volunteers for helping keep the event organized! We truly appreciate you giving your time, keeping the energy high, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. A special shoutout to Brian Pellegatto for creating those amazing race lines, and to Collin Twibell for keeping us caffeinated with Starbucks coffee.
To our dedicated teachers and staff: thank you for showing up to support your students and for running and walking the course alongside them. And to our former Duffy students who returned to help hand out bracelets and manage the inflatable obstacles. What a wonderful way to give back!
It was truly a day that captured the Duffy community spirit we’re so proud to be part of. At Duffy, we are all winners, but the trophy will be awarded to Mrs. Bedner's class for raising the most money collectively as a class! Congratulations and enjoy that trophy!!
