Tomorrow is the big day…our Read-a-thon kick off!  Our Duffy dragons will “drop everything and read” for twenty minutes during the school day.  Following, all students are invited to read 20 minutes (or more!) a day and track their minutes from Monday, April 17^th- Sunday, April 23^rd. 

Did you know the following will be possible from the Read-a-thon donations?

• Each class per grade with the most minutes read will receive money to select books for their class. (What books would your child like to have at school?)
• All of our children will participate a Reading Celebration Day with a bounce house obstacle course. (What a great way to celebrate!)
• Every Duffy dragon will receive a pack of reading themed stickers. (So fun!)
• A fund is being established to help cover the expenses for the end of the year events for all of our graduating classes. This includes the class of 2023 and all the future graduating classes in K-4.  Think: class t-shirts, lawn signs, yearbooks, class day, fun day and more!  (Priceless memories!)
