West Hartford Board of Education Capital Improvement Plan
Thu, Jan 30 9:04am

The West Hartford Superintendent’s Office recently proposed a 12-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), which includes installing air conditioning at all West Hartford schools that don’t have it.  The Superintendent’s Office also proposed that Duffy be the first school to receive an air conditioning system (Duffy’s windows and ventilation system are original, dating back to the 1950’s).

The next step is for the West Hartford Board of Ed to vote on the proposal.  They vote next week, so this is where you come in!  If you would like show your support for the proposal for Duffy to receive an air conditioning system, please consider sending our WH Board of Ed an email showing your support at boardmembers@whps.org.

Thank you,

Jenn O’Connell, Duffy PTO President, and the PTO Board
