Each year, Mrs. Detrick organizes a “Get a Book, Give a Book” celebration in school during the last week before winter break to spread the JOY of reading! Duffy Dragons have the opportunity to pick out a gently used book for winter break reading as well as choose one to wrap and bring home to give as a gift for a sibling, neighbor, friend, relative, etc.
We are looking for volunteers to help sort books, and to turn our lobby into a Winter Wonderland for the students to "shop"!
