Thank you to everyone for a very successful Fund Run last Friday. The students, teachers, staff, and parents (!) came out in full force and supported each other. We've tallied the total laps for each class, and here are the class winners per grade based on average laps. As always, it was close!

Kindergarten: Vogel (9.1 average laps)
1st: Erickson/Lewis (10.0 average laps)
2nd: Neff (10.1 average laps)
3rd: Daley (11.0 average laps)
4th: Cudjoe (10.3 average laps)
5th: Goodman (11.0 average laps)

We have some extremely fast runners at Duniway! Cade Rosenau (5th grade) once again had the most laps, at 17 laps (4.25 miles)! Max McClain (5th), Hudson Ross (4th), and Evan Shoemaker (4th) were close behind at 16 laps. And wow...Cecilia Mink (3rd grade) ran 15 laps.

Our teachers came out in full force. Ms. Lisa ran 37 laps over the course of the day -- 9.25 miles! Great training for her upcoming half-marathon. Ms. Christy rocked it again this year (23 laps over the course of the day) and Ms. Goodman gave the 5th graders a run for their money with 12 laps. 

This year marked our first Duniway Parent Classic! We had 37 parents register and show their spirit running and walking 1.5 miles of the course. Dan Sunshine and Angie Chiodo walked away with the trophies for the fastest times and the costumes were amazing! 

Certificates will be distributed to the students soon. If you see an issue with the number of laps your student ran, please reach out and we'll print another corrected certificate.
