Hi Duniway families,

The Fund Run is coming up this Friday, and you still have time to give here. We just did a practice run with the 5th graders this morning, and their enthusiasm was infectious! 

Funds from the Fund Run support so many parts of what makes Duniway great. The carnival. The variety show. The winter dance. Art projects and the creations that come home in backpacks. Updated equipment and materials for PE, the library, and classrooms. And programs like Reading Results that play an essential role in making sure students get the learning support they need.

So many of the things that make Duniway feel like Duniway are made possible because parents and families contribute and show up to support the PTA and Foundation, alongside our incredible staff and teachers.

So please remember to give to the Fund Run, and invite your community to give, too. Get your kids involved in being brave and making the ask!

And speaking of showing up... come cheer on our kids Friday. Families are welcome to watch, cheer, and bring some extra Fund Run energy.

Here’s when each group will be running:

3rd Grade — 8:30–9:00
4th Grade — 9:20–9:50
2nd Grade — 10:10–10:40
K & Pre-K — 11:55–12:15
1st Grade — 12:35–12:55
5th Grade — 1:20–1:50
Parent Classic — 2:45–3:15 (join us for a 1.6ish mile walk/run... costumes optional!)

And finally, a big thank you to the many volunteers who signed up to make Friday a success. We will see you all Friday.
