Yesterday, a small and powerful family coalition from Duniway and other SE PPS elementary schools had lobby sessions with our lawmakers. 

Together, our voices were clear - invest in our children, invest in their schools!

If you missed this opportunity or joined us yesterday and are passionate about heading to Salem again, join parents and community leaders from across the state on Wednesday April 30th (9:30 am - 4:30 pm) in Salem where school community members will meet with legislators to ask them for their support for the needs of our children and their public schools.  

The goals on April 30th are to:

1) ADVOCATE for and raise awareness about the importance of fully funding schools, 

2) URGE lawmakers to prioritize coming up with a long term plan to fully fund Oregon’s public schools 

3) ASK lawmakers to vote for crucial school funding legislation this session.
