Dear Duniway Parents and Families -
As you may know, our district is facing a challenging $40 million shortfall. As central office leaders and the school board prepare to make tough budget decisions, our school community must speak up to help shape those priorities. This central office survey has been created to gather feedback from the community about what programs and services they feel should be maintained or reduced, and your input is critical.
This survey includes a free-response question: "If you feel there are other areas of great importance, please share them here." This is a valuable opportunity for the Duniway community to underscore the significance of arts education and how it enriches the lives of our students, enhances their academic experience, and fosters essential skills like collaboration, and critical and creative thinking.
Please complete this survey and advocate for maintaining our arts programming. Your voice can make a powerful difference in the conversation around what our district values. I am grateful to be at Duniway and appreciate your continued support of music and the arts in PPS!
Sincerely,
Lisa Adams and The Visual and Performing Arts Team
