Oregon Battle of the Books is a statewide competition for kids in 3rd grade and up. Teams of kids of 3rd - 5th Grade are organized by Parent Coach volunteers starting in October. 16 books chosen by the State OBOB Committee are read and studied by the Teams. There is typically a practice competition in January, then a school-wide competition in February. The winning team from Duniway would then go to Regional competitions, with hopes of going on to State!

Duniway OBOB Committee members with help the Chair organize students into Teams, support Team Coaches learn about OBOB, organize and facilitate Mock Battles and run competition Battles at Duniway during after school hours.
