Hi Earhart Parents,

As we head into the summer months of reading, I would like to toss out a book that is currently on the New York Times Bestseller list and is making its way through several podcasts and talk show circuits. The book is titled, "The Anxious Generation: How The Great Rewiring Of Childhood Is Causing An Epidemic of Mental Illness".

If you are concerned about the impact that screens and screen usage is impacting our kids, then this is a perfect summer read for you. In fact, it is so important that with enough interest, one of our own teachers, Mr. Green (5th Grade teacher and Runner-up for Teacher of the Year 2023-24) has offered to lead a series of book club meetings and informational nights this coming fall!

Not only that, we will be joining Otis Elementary, who also has chosen this title as their summer read.
