**The Traffic Safety Crew Coordinators will assess the need for volunteers in November and December. Hopefully the rules will continue to be followed, and curbside volunteers can take a break in November and December. Most likely, volunteers will be needed again in January after Winter Break, while we all re-settle into our routines.**

Thank you very much for making the extra effort to make drop-off a safe experience for our students & families! 

We ask that parents commit to volunteer on specific days of the week for a month at a time, i.e. each Monday of November. You are welcome to sign up for as many days and months that you can commit to. Traffic Safety Crew runs from 7:55 am- 8:25 am. At a minimum, we need 2 volunteers on site every morning to support. Safety vests are available from the front office.

As volunteers for our Traffic Safety Crew, we ask that parents: 

1. Please be aware of the bike path while monitoring the drop off zone.  Try to stand in the grass area.
2. Do not walk children onto campus outside of helping them past the bike path. If a child needs help, please ask the parent to park down past the white zone.
3. Do not open car doors unless specifically asked to by the driver.
4. Give parents time to get their children out.
5. Be kind and positive. This is an opportunity to help our school community.
