Celebrate International Walk and Roll to School Day!

Join Earhart School for International Walk and Roll to School Day! We will celebrate our school spirit, our health, and the environment with the Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools Program. This year, our school will celebrate by hosting a Bike Train and encouraging students and families to walk, roll or ride share to school. Check your students backpack for a fun safety inspired scavenger hunt. Find 10 of the 15 items and your student will be entered in a raffle for fun and practical prizes!

Bike Train - We will leave from Melrose and Mecartney (stop 1) at 7:55am and pick up riders as we go. We plan arrive at school by 8:10 to take enjoy the mornings activities and music. Route map attached to this announcement. 

We rely on parent volunteers to make these events fun and successful please look for opportunities here. 

You can also participate with your family and friends by:

• Taking a walk, or riding a bike, skateboard, or scooter

• Biking with your child on their own or with a trail-a-bike

• Taking the bus with your child and walking to and from the bus stop
