Project Cornerstone 2022-2023

By volunteering just two to three hours per month, Project Cornerstone volunteers build relationships with young people by reading selected books and leading classroom activities and discussions with a focus on respect, peaceful conflict resolution, caring and friendship. Children learn what to do if they encounter bully behaviors and how to become an UPstander.

Our goal is to have at least one reader in every classroom. Some classrooms, however, end up with many readers and others have no readers. If you are interested in reading, but your child's classroom is already full, please let the Committee Lead know. We'd love to have your help with reading in another classroom.
