The 9th (or so) Annual Edison Dads Chili Cook Off will take place on the 3200 Block of Bayo Vista Avenue this Saturday, Sept 14 at 6pm. This coincides with the annual Block Party, so there will be the usual block party mayhem surrounding the cookoff.

Come earn bragging rights and share your best southwestern stew with the Edison community. Any and all chili is welcome, though preferably home made by an Edison Dad himself. Please label with a name and general description of ingredients.
Community judging rules apply. Each guest/taster will get three votes for their favorite chilis. Texture, Flavor, and quantity all count. Voting will begin at 6PM and complete at 6:45. Late arrivals are welcome, but will have less time for tasting and voting.
The winner takes home the coveted Edison Chili Cook Off Trophy Pot and a lifetime of bragging rights.
Tables will be provided. If you have an extension cord and/or power strip handy, bring them along. They will help power the highly recommended slow cookers that we'll use to keep our chilis hot and fresh. Bring a substantially large batch. Running out of chili is a bad strategy.
Date and Time: Sept 14, 6pm
