Hope y'all are having a great summer break! Just a quick heads up from the Walk & Roll Committee...

We have booked the Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools BikeMobile to help you get your kids bikes ready for commuting to school. They will be at the All School Playdate on August 13th starting at 1pm.

The BikeMobile can fix flat tires, adjust brakes and gears, and even replace broken or worn out parts like chains, seats and tires. The only thing it can't do is replace missing wheels or gears.

Kids bikes will be given a priority and we are limited to one bike per person. It will be first come first served and there will be a sign-up clipboard. I don't anticipate it being like the May Bike Festival but I would suggest getting your bike checked-in on the earlier side.

The BikeMobile is a free service provided through the Alameda County Transportation Commission.
