What a year it's been! As we approach the final weeks of school, we would like to invite all families to join in the annual Edison Community Service Night next Thursday 5/29 from 6-8pm in the MPR. In partnership with the AUSD Office of Equity, we will be assembling Student Support Kits for AUSD youth who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence. This event is a wonderful opportunity to introduce kids to community service and share the joy of giving back to those in need. Pizza and drinks will be provided. Please RSVP for headcount purposes.
Can't make it to the Community Service Night? You can still participate by donating items that will be used to create the Student Support Kits! These kits will be distributed to ~100 students from Edison, Ruby Bridges, Maya Lin, Wood, and EHS Junior Jets.
With just one week to go, please drop off any of the following items (in new or gently used condition) to the collection bin in the Edison front office. I will check the donations box daily and update this spreadsheet to track the items we receive.
