Families,
We’re excited to bring Math Club back to Edison this year!
Math Club is a PTA-funded program that provides children in grades 1-5 with the opportunity to deepen their math skills and (maybe!) fall in love with math. Math Club meets weekly on Thursdays from 3 to 4 pm. We anticipate kicking off on December 4th and going through March 26, 2026.
We are not accepting signups for Math Club just yet; we’re awaiting final confirmation on classroom availability and want to gauge volunteer interest before doing so.
For now, if your child is interested in participating in Math Club, please do the following:
-
Join the Math Club committee in Konstella to stay on top of relevant messages.
-
Mark your calendar for a virtual information session about Math Club (on Zoom) on October 22nd at 8 p.m. The meeting is optional; it will be recorded and shared.
-
If you plan to volunteer, make sure to submit your volunteer registration to AUSD by 10/15.
Check out these FAQs for more information about the Math Club program, and feel free to reach out with questions.
Best,
Monica & Brian

* Note that we’ll open volunteer opportunities for Math Club after the 10/22 information session. Math Club is a PTA program, so it only works with volunteer support! Unlike last year, this year we’ll rely on parent volunteers to run the sessions for students. We’ll provide training on curriculum and classroom management techniques, and we’ll also look to you for your suggestions on how to make Math Club fun, engaging, and enriching for students at each grade level.
