*About the New Executive Vice President Role

We're proposing an amendment to our bylaws to create of a new Executive Vice President (EVP) position to support our President and strengthen our leadership structure. This is a structure widely used in other local elementary school PTAs and will help distribute responsibilities more effectively and ensure our board remains responsive to the school community and allow for more seamless transitions from year to year. The creation of this new role will be subject to approval of our proposed bylaw amendment prior to the election on 4/22.
