Hi Edison Families,

We are half way through our one week campaign for the annual Turkey Drive. Our goal is to raise enough money for the Alameda Food Bank to purchase 100 turkeys in time for Thanksgiving. Our 5th Grade Girl Scouts did a preliminary count today and we have $1,000 to go to hit our goal!

We understand that although the kids are excited to fill the classroom canisters with coins and bills, many of us no longer use cash. If you would prefer to donate electronically, please use this link.

This is a great opportunity to talk with your child/children about the Alameda Food Bank and how they provide nutritious food to low-income Alameda families. The Alameda Food Bank is currently serving over 1,200 local families each week, and they truly need and appreciate the support from Edison School.
