Dear Edison Families,
For their legacy project, the 5th graders have spent the past two Friday mornings at the Alameda County Community Food Bank, packing produce for those in need. They worked very hard and had great enthusiasm and focus. Together, all the classes packed: 21,116 pounds of produce which makes 16,501 meals!!
Great work, 5th graders and their parent volunteers! And a huge thank you to the 5th grade teachers and to Meleyna Nomura for coordinating and bringing snacks, etc.
