Tomorrow, October 15th is the last day of our annual Read-A-Thon. We’re *this close* to reaching our fundraising goal – there’s still time to send donation reminders or make donations! If we hit the goal, we have a fun and very messy surprise planned with Mr. Sahakian (think paint – and lots of it!). Help us get over the finish line!
Here are some tips to close out strong and make sure your students’ reading/fundraising efforts are all prize-eligible:

By Wednesday, 10/15 at 11:59 pm: Please log all reading minutes and submit all donations through Pledgestar (https://pledgestar.com/edisonreadathon/). Wednesday reading counts, so be sure to log it!

By Friday, 10/17 end of the school day: Turn in your Under the Sea Read-a-Thon Deep Sea Guide in the front office. Please be sure to write your name and grade/room number and tally the number of completed reading challenges in the white box.

By Monday, 10/20 end of the school day: Please submit any donations via check (made payable to the Edison PTA) to the front office. The donation amounts will be counted towards your student's fundraising total. FYI - checks and corporate matches may not yet appear on Pledgestar in your student’s fundraising total. These donation amounts will still count towards your student’s fundraising total. If you have any questions about whether a check or match was received, please reach out to Julia Kripke and Erica Bucci.
You can also help support the Read-a-Thon fundraiser by participating in two fun Dine/Shop & Donate events tomorrow, October 15th! Head over to Tomatina (lunch or dinner, dine in or takeout!) and to Books Inc. (5-8 pm, with book signings at 5:30 pm by Wahab Algarmi from our author assembly). A % of proceeds from both events will be donated to the Edison PTA, so make a plan to meet up with friends at one or both stores. Please show the attached flyer at Tomatina.
