Interested in volunteering at Edison this year? Stop by the Volunteer Fair to talk with committee leads and learn about all the ways you can help support our Otters!
- Volunteer on Campus: Kids love seeing their grown-ups at school! Fun, low-commitment ways to volunteer include: garden docent, Go Green, Walk & Roll, lunch buddies, art docent, and more.
- Help from Home: Help organize the spring auction, edit the yearbook, book assemblies, attend PTA officer meetings, plan D&I social events—the list goes on!
- Room Parents: If you've already signed up to be a room parent or are interested in what the role entails, join the room parent orientation in the library from 6:00-7:30 pm. Live Scan services for room parents are reserved from 7:30-8.
Live Scan: The Edison PTA is funding free Live Scan services—no reimbursement needed this year! Fingerprinting is required for any adult volunteering on campus more than twice per year and/or in an unsupervised setting. It is good for your entire time in AUSD. Sign up here for a time slot. Walk-ins will be taken if time permits. See the district's volunteer page for other requirements.
Can't make the volunteer fair? Sign up on Konstella for any committees or roles that interest you, and plan to attend the first PTA meeting on Sept. 17, where PTA-funded Live Scan services will be available as well.
