Each year, this committee is staffed by 4th grade parents to plan and coordinate the 5th Grade Promotion celebration at end of year, recognizing students as they complete their final year at Edison!
What: Organize the 5th grade promotion event, including flowers/decorations/cake, food + drinks, a photo booth, and Mr. Softee treats for the rest of the school (so no one is left out)
When: April - June
Committee Leads:
- April: finalize the date, supplies, vendors and volunteers
- May: ensure all vendor orders are in.
- Jun: ensure supplies are in place 1-2 days before, ensure setup and takedown day-of.
Volunteers:
- Cake, Flowers, Food, Fruit volunteers will make orders ahead of time and coordinate delivery plus setup
- Photo Booth, Mr Softee volunteers will put up props and signs, and meet the vendor
- Day-of: put up decorations, put out food / drinks / desserts, have an amazing event, and clean up!
