Description: Promote walking and biking to school. Generally, three big events throughout the year including Bike to School Day, International Walk and Roll to School Day and the Edison Bike Elf. We also schedule assemblies and Rodeos to teach Bike and Pedestrian safety.
During Covid, we are organizing neighborhood word scramble scavenger hunts and other activities to encourage kids and families to get out walking and rolling.

Committee Member Signed Up: 23 / 25Help out with Walk & Roll Events such as Monthly Walk & Roll, Bike to School Day, and The Bike Elf. The committee also coordinates Bike and Pedestrian education/assemblies through Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools. Most volunteer opportunities are for 30 - 45 minute shifts.
