Spanish Immersion Book Fair at Escondido – December 3rd -7th

Our Escondido librarian, Nina Bailey, has hand-picked a wonderful selection of books from our Spanish book provider, Lectorum. We will have many new titles across all genres - fiction, science, biographies, history and more – including many award-winning books originally written in Spanish and popular books translated into Spanish.  This is a great opportunity to buy books for the year for your kids and their classrooms and Holiday presents! All books will be discounted 10% off list price, and a percentage of all sales will be donated to our Escondido library.

We are also looking for several parent volunteers. This is a fun and easy way to give back to the Escondido community, so please look for the signup sheet at Konstella.

If you have any questions, please contact us at

Tacolicious MONDAYS in NOVEMBER benefit Escondido

Monday 5, 12, 19, 26 in November

November is Escondido Elementary's beneficiary month for the Tacolicious School Project which means our school gets 7.5 percent of our proceeds from your partner restaurant, Escondido and Nixon are partnered for the month of November.

Since 2012, Tacolicious has made public education its priority, investing back into the Bay Area community through the Tacolicious School Project. For Tacolicious owners Joe Hargrave and Sara Deseran, this mission is personal. Since kindergarten, their children have attended SF public schools.

How it works: From September to May, each of our SF, Palo Alto and San Jose Tacolicious locations pair up with neighboring public schools, donating 15 percent of a month’s worth of Monday’s proceeds. Tacolicious has an annual alliance with 54 public schools. To date we have given over $1,000,000 given back to public education In Palo Alto, we have partnered with another PAUSD school to share all of the months of school year.
