Hello Escondido Parents-
Monday, September 18th was our first PTA meeting of the year and we had a great turn out! For those that were unable to attend...don't worry, we will post the minutes, just outside the Office, on the PTA Bulletin Board.
Mark your calendars, the next meeting will be Monday, October 9 at 7 pm in the Library. New this year, alternating morning and evening meeting times, every-other-month. At every meeting we will highlight volunteers contributing to Escondido in extra special ways, during the Welcome & Kudos portion of the meeting.
"Kudos" (special shout-outs) for September
* Thank you the Direct Appeal team--Ice Cream Challenge, those scoops are still coming and it would not be possible without Chris Philpot, Truc De Lorenzo, Johanna Ehrlich & Christine Klenow. Also a special thanks to Elizabeth Olson, for her continued support and guidance of the campaign, she was one of the creators of the "Ice Cream Challenge" several years ago.
* Thank you to Amanda Ross & Carmina Littlefield for loading ALL 2017-2018 classroom information into Konstella.
* Thank you to the entire PTA board for hosting an amazing First Day Coffee for all the Escondido parents, what a great morning getting to know new families & reconnecting with the returning families.
* Thank you to alumni serving as Tour Guides and volunteering to stuff BTS packets and make signs welcoming students to Escondido.
