Save the Date for Escondido's incredible
Last year's International Fair was one of the highlights of the school year! We had 24 Countries represented from around the world! So in order to keep the tradition going, the first thing we need to do is to get volunteers lined up to host a "Country Booth" that represents the culture and traditions of a particular country or region. The kids receive a "passport" and have so much fun visiting all the different Countries.
Hosting a Country Booth is fun and simple! Last year, for example, people displayed maps and information, gave away small food samples, dressed in traditional clothing, provided small games, played music, etc. We will provide the table and chairs and access to electricity if needed.
Feel free to host a booth by yourself, as a group, or we can pair you with others. If interested please sign up here on Google docs. Hosting a Country Booth is a great way to celebrate Escondido’s tradition of having ‘friends around the world’.
