A huge thanks to the Littlefield Family (Fabiana Littlefield, Rm 3) for nominating Esperanza Juvenil, a nonprofit that  provides housing and schooling from elementary school through college for highly motivated children from impoverished and often broken homes. Graduates of the program have stayed involved to help give back to the younger students striving for academic and life success. More details available on their website: http://esperanzajuvenil.org/

Thank you to all the teachers who motivated their students to participate in Penny Power and helped collect money in their classroom. Especially Rm 22 (4th grade) for raising $469.06 through their Origami Decoration and Slime Fundraiser!  Click here to see a photos and a fun video of Penny Power in action!

A huge thank you to parent volunteers Kara Baker and Maria Sanchez-Bordona for helping with Penny Power!

Penny Power will be back in February 2019 when we will support an organization that is local to the Bay Area.  Sadly, our daughter is graduating from Escondido, we will need another family to volunteer to Chair Penny Power, please email me (mora_o@hotmail.com) if you are interested, I'd love to share more details with you.

with gratitude!
