Farrand Robocall Email October 10, 2021

Dear Parents,

We had a productive 4 day week at Farrand. There are a few students who will be completing the NWEA testing this coming week. Our Farrand students are certainly responsible learners. I subbed in the kindergarten classroom on Thursday. Our youngest learners have certainly settled in and are working.

A few reminders: Students or adults who ride bicycles to school should remember that the procedure is to get off and walk your bike while on school grounds. One of our youngest students was hit by another student who was riding a bike on the playground at dismissal. The injuries, though serious, could have been much worse.

A second reminder is that Farrand is a hands off school. We love it when we do not have to assign consequences for students who don’t follow the ‘hands off’ expectation.

Parents, we would love to see you at the PTO meeting in the Media Center, tomorrow, Monday October 11 at 7:00 p.m. Come out and share your ideas for supporting Farrand students.

School pictures will be taken on October 21, the traditional Halloween parade is scheduled for October 29 (time TBD) and Trunk or Treat is planned for October 29 from 6:30 -8pm.
