Farrand Weekly Update Robocall September 13, 2020

Good Evening Farrand Families, Mrs. Washington here with your weekend update. This has been a productive week. Staff enjoyed meeting with you and your students here at the school. Zoom meetings have been successful and our children are getting back into the practice of doing school.

Don’t be alarmed if your student’s attention span seems to have shortened. That is normal considering our experiences since March. They will need our patience and persistence to help them build learning stamina.

Farrand will have a fire drill on September 15 at 9:30. Please let your student know. Yes, it does seem strange to have them when children are not present but the State believes we should not abandon the practice.so that our children will already be familiar with them when we return to face to face learning. The loud bells will interrupt learning for approximately 3 minutes.

I hope you have received your ‘To Go Bags’. The curriculum ‘Bag’ contains your students volume 1 math book. It will be used during remote learning and when we return to face to face learning. We know our Farrand foxes will take care of their books.

And now for District News…

Adding the app is fast and easy and will provide you with all the latest information about your school district.  The app is free and provides several plug-ins designed with parents in mind. It gives you instant access to the P-CCS website, MiStar and other important school resources. To download, just go to your respective app store and enter “Plymouth-Canton.”  Once you have the app on your phone, you can choose to receive push notifications.
