P-CCS District news
CHECK YOUR EMAIL AND TAKE OUR SURVEY - District administrators have recommended a half-day hybrid model to the Board of Education for consideration. Of the different hybrid models considered, district administration believes the half-day model is the most instructionally sound model for our students. We recognize that all hybrid models may present challenges for our staff and families. Please check your email early this week for a link to a survey that is designed to gather your input on the subject. The survey should arrive before Wednesday. Individual responses will be kept anonymous, and all results will be reported and analyzed in whole. Please complete this survey form by Thursday, October 8, at Noon.
P-CCS released a communication on Thursday, October 1, that included a written and audio message from Superintendent Merritt reviewing the events of the board meeting on Tuesday, September 30, as well as a video that shares in detail our rationale behind the recommendation of a half-day hybrid model. This video can be found athttps://youtu.be/oFuLiIG29J4 .
The Board of Education and district administration discussed specific elements of the hybrid models during the Special Meeting on Friday, October 2. You can view the video of this discussion as well as all Board of Education meetings athttps://youtu.be/TXjZbGf5W5I .
