Parents and Scouts!

It's time to sign up for another exciting year of Scouting! Round Up Night is around the corner but there are a few changes this year...

EACH DEN WILL HOLD THEIR OWN ROUND UP NIGHT. This will help to maintain social distancing measures and also adhere to government regulations on group size.

Please attend the Round Up Night that pertains to your Scout's new grade:

1st Grade (Tigers): Tuesday, Sept 15th from 6:30 pm-8 pm at the Plymouth VFW (1426 South Mill St, Plymouth)

2nd Grade (Wolf): Tuesday, Sept 15th at 6 pm at Plymouth Township Park (at the pavilion by the pond)

3rd Grade (Bear): Wednesday, Sept 16th at 6 pm at the Stickler House (contact Den Leader Ben Stickler for address/directions)

4th Grade (Jr. Webelos): Tuesday, Sept 15th at 7 pm at the VFW 1426 S Mill Street Plymouth

5th Grade (Sr. Webelos): Wednesday, Sept 16th at 6:30 pm at Plymouth Township Park (pavilion near play structure)

We need to observe all COVID-19 precautions by:
1. Bring only 1 parent and Scout (if at all possible)
2. Wear your mask
3. Bring your own pen
4. Maintain social distancing

If you cannot make your assigned meeting (or you have Scouts in different grades) please contact your Den Leader so other arrangements can be made (Pack contact information is at the bottom of this message).

In true Scout fashion, we will do "DO OUR BEST" to provide Scouting opportunities for your son this year.

We will not have any Pack Meetings in September or October so that dens can have 2 meetings per month in an outside environment before the weather drives us indoors again. We will monitor the COVID regulations and schedule appropriate den and pack activities for November and December, even if we have to do something virtual.

Scouting will start out a bit different this year but that's okay! This is a great time to show our Scouts how to make the best of times under uncertain circumstances. How we handle this situation could be a lifelong lesson that they will draw upon later in life when they think they should not pursue something because it is uncertain or difficult.

Also, please forward this email on to others who might be interested in Scouting. I'm looking forward to the day we can all be together in person again, but until then...DO YOUR BEST!

Yours in Scouting,
Krista A. McKinley
