Virtual PCCS Parent Council Meeting (5pm to 7pm)

The PCCS Parent Council Board has voted to postpone our May 15th virtual meeting until Friday, May 29th, 5pm- 7pm. 
 
We want to provide as much useful and supportive information as possible for parents during this difficult time. We also want to make our meeting topics responsive to the many thoughtful parent questions and concerns that have been raised while preparing for this meeting.  The following developments also informed our decision to reschedule the meeting to the later date of May 29th:
 
1. The district Re-entry Task Force will be in place to better respond to the many questions we have received about the fall school situation.
 
2. The district has just distributed a Parent Survey regarding Home Learning. There will also be a student and staff version of this survey distributed in the very near future as well. This information would be useful to better inform our meeting.
 
3.  With Michigan's "Stay Home, Stay Safe" order still in place at this time, we may know more about possible easing or partial lifting of the order and how it might affect schools in the coming weeks.
 
A specific agenda and directions to access this meeting will be distributed a week before the meeting. We will still include a means for Parents and Caregivers of PCCS students to ask questions during the course of the meeting. Please know that if you forwarded questions to our Parent Council email to be asked of our Administrative leaders for the night of the meeting, those questions will be saved and still be asked on your behalf. At this time, please give your feedback using the district Parent Survey on Home Learning and also contact your student's teacher and principal for guidance and help as well.
