Hello Ferris families, 

Although PAC has been quiet in the past three months, we have been missing you all.  It has not been our usual spring packed with activities like our annual spring carnival or outdoor concert.  We hope everyone has been staying healthy and safe, and taking the rare opportunity to spend more time with your children cooking, playing games, gardening etc.  

We are fast approaching the end of 19/20 school year.  This year definitely has been challenging in many ways for all of us.   We are so fortunate to have such a great group of dedicated staff here at Ferris Elementary helping our children to stay on track academically.  They have been working extra hours adapting new methods of teaching that require a lot of learning and planning while taking every student's unique situation into consideration.  Now, we are requesting students' participation to show our/their appreciation.   Instead of treating staff with yummy food, we would like to put together a photo collage or slideshow of students holding HEART drawings.   

1. Draw/paint/colour a heart on letter size (8.5"x11") paper. Be creative, be colourful.    

2. Hold up your heart drawing, put on your coolest sunglasses, strike a FUN pose... and take a photo!  And yes, sunglasses must be worn for your photo!  

3. Send your photo to ferrispac@gmail.com (by emailing us your photo, you're giving us your consent to share your photo internally within Ferris community)

4. Please send your photo by Wednesday, June 17 at 12pm noon the latest. 

We hope that as many students as possible can participate to deliver an amazing end result! This is a secret surprise team project... so shhhhh, don't tell them yet!   Let's put some smiles on their faces!
