Dear Ferris Parents,

Our dedicated PAC treasurers have worked hard to properly record all of your generous donations submitted over the past two weeks.  Now, the big question: How much did we raise?

PAC is proudly to announce that we surpassed all previous donating efforts – 227 Ferris families have contributed an astonishing total of $15,720! 

Thank you all for your generosity and efforts.  Our children are incredibly blessed to have such an amazingly supportive parent group.  As all of you are aware, this amount is still shy of the $39,500 goal we had set for this year.  Our Ferris community spirit is not limited to the past two weeks, as we hope to receive your consistent support throughout many exciting events that we have planned for this school year. 

Here’s a quick glance at some of the PAC community building and fundraising events that you can get involved in:
- Hot Lunch, once a month
- Family Holiday Party - Friday, Nov. 29, 2019
- New Year Celebration - Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020
- Spring Plant and Gym Sale - Saturday, April 18, 2020
- Spring Carnival - Thursday, May 28, 2020
As the time approaches, we will make volunteering positions available to sign up on Konstella.

As promised, we will embrace transparency in all details of how the donations are used.  We welcome parent attendance at our monthly PAC meetings and encourage everyone to read minutes posted on PAC website (http://ferris.sd38.bc.ca/news-category/meeting-minutes) and Konstella (More--> Files & Links --> PAC Meeting Minutes 2019/2020). 

Thank you again for the impressive amount of donations.  It’s only through parents like you that we will achieve the mission of PAC.  We look forward to not only providing our students with more enriched educational programs and new special school equipment, but also building a strong unified parent community!
