Dear First Avenue Families,

You are invited to the FA PTSA meeting on Wednesday, October 5th from 6-6:30 pm in the Library.   Hear Principal Dr. Issa and Assistant Principal Michael DeGrazia's updates on First Avenue Middle School, find out what your PTSA is planning for the year, and meet fellow First Avenue Parents!  Those in attendance will be entered into a Raffle for great prizes too!

Following the meeting,  join us for a presentation by FA's Communication Specialist, Jaydene Davis in Room 27, from 6:30 -8:00 pm.

"Leaving Childhood: 6th Grade — The Year of Capability*
A conversation on cultivating capability during the final year of childhood
(pre-adolescence).Topics will include helping around the house, organization, time management, problem solving, and friendship.  

*Please Note: Although the program is targeted towards 6th grade, we welcome all grade levels and all would benefit from the information being presented.
