We hope you marked your calendars after the message last week about Community Service Day. We would like to have a sign-up sheet running for those planning to join in. Please make sure to sign-up and let us know you are coming.

Let's make the campus look as sharp as our Foothill students! Volunteers will help spread mulch/bark, rake leaves, remove brick walkways and create edging by repurposing bricks elsewhere on campus. Our gardening project will be in multiple areas on the campus.

Location details: Meet at the main entrance to the school.

Ages: All ages. Children under age 11 must be accompanied by an adult.

Physical requirements: Must be able to do light gardening work. Some tasks require more physical strength or endurance than others. We can find an appropriate job for volunteers of all ages and abilities.

Other requirements: Please wear work clothes you can get dirty, closed-toe shoes for safety, hat, sunscreen.

Please bring: Gardening tools (clippers, pruners, rakes, shovel, wheelbarrow, trash clean-up tools (trash grabber, bucket); work gloves ); and personal drinking water.
