The school year is in full swing, and the PFA is busy planning dances, programs, and other fun activities for our students. We couldn’t make these events happen without the support of our wonderful volunteers!

If you’re interested in volunteering for future opportunities especially on campus for our school dances please take a moment to make sure your MDUSD volunteer clearance is current.  

MDUSD has three levels of volunteer clearance:
Level 1 – Limited Volunteer: May volunteer up to two times per year with district staff member present.  All school dances are PFA sponsored (not FMS), therefore all dance volunteers must be level 2 or level 3 cleared.
Level 2 – General Volunteer: Cleared for all school events, but not authorized to drive students.
Level 3 – Volunteer Driver: Cleared for all events, including transporting students.

Beginning July 1, 2026, Level Two and Level Three volunteers must complete Mandated Reporter Training each year.

To remain cleared, volunteers will need to:

• Complete fingerprint clearance
• Upload proof of a negative TB test
• Upload proof of annual Mandated Reporter Training
• Receive approval from the site administrator at each selected school
