Last Day To Donate To Fire Victims
Fri, Nov 16 8:20am-2:50pm
Frank Otis Elementary
1 day before
UPDATE (11/14):

Given the overwhelming amount of clothing and "stuff" being donated to communities affected by the Camp Fire, we have been informed that cash donations and gift cards (Wal-Mart, Target, Safeway, Trader Joe's, Visa, etc.) are what is most useful at this time. An envelope will be placed in the office tomorrow for these donations

You can also make direct donations to the North Valley Community Foundation by visiting www.nvcf.org.

The only NEW items we have been told there is currently a need for includes underwear (all sizes and ages), socks, laundry supplies, new shoes. No used items please. A bin to collect these donations by Friday afternoon has been set up in the hallway where the lost and found items are.

Thank you!

OTIS IS COLLECTING DONATIONS FOR FIRE VICTIMS:
The fires in Northern and Southern California are so tragic and heartbreaking. As our Owl community does time and time again, we are digging deep to help those in need and are asking Otis families to make donations for families affected by the fire. A former Otis family (Judy Jaber and Dave Worley) will be traveling to Chico on Sunday to deliver collected items. Here's what the fire affected communities need:

-Leashes and crates for the pets
-Small bags or backpacks
-New underwear and socks
-New clothing
-New linens -- bedding and towels
-Paper plates and napkins
-Non-perishable food
-Toiletries including feminine products and eyedrops
-First aid kits
-Wet and dry pet food
-Gently used towels and blankets
-Gift cards (Wal-Mart, Target, Safeway, Trader Joes, Visa, etc.)

Beginning on Wednesday (11/14), collections bins will be placed near the Lost & Found area (main school hallway). Please make a donation if you can. Thank you!
