CARNIVAL WAS A B.L.A.S.T.!
Our community came out in full force to enjoy the festivities at this year's Carnival. Families enjoyed food, bounce houses, carnival games, a cake walk, music, and a haunted house. Our Owls bought an astounding  44,700 Carnival tickets this year and had non-stop fun!

THANK YOU TO OUR OTIS CARNIES...
It takes many volunteers to make Carnival happen, and I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for helping with this wonderful community event. A HUGE shout out goes to Shizuka Kuroiwa for running a fantastically themed Haunted House from start to finish and managing our wonderfully scary LMS volunteers. A very special thanks to Noel Rabinowitz and theDads Club for rocking out the Otis Carnival BBQ, Jamie Datz and  Brad Robinson for keeping the mood festive and the tunes flowin', Beth Leonardo and  Marcus Carini for creating fantastic Carnival graphics, andAdam Sand,  Susan HughesAngie StewartLiz SandJennifer Yip,Erica KolodnyBrook FearnClaire SharifiTheresa Bui Revon, Sophia Kjelland, and  Jessie Seyfer for being the backbone of the many, many moving parts of Carnival. Thanks to  Lara Hull for organizing a Live Scan Fingerprinting service for our Otis Volunteers. And to Jenny Beck and the Go Green! committee for keeping Carnival waste out of landfill as much as possible. Finally, so many thanks to the droves of Otis and LMS Volunteers for running the booths, concession stands, cakewalk and Haunted House on the day of Carnival.

My sincere thanks to everyone who made this event happen - going above and beyond as always. When we come together like this, we show what it means to be truly invested in our school and community.

Otis PTA President
